Ajwain oil(Indian thyme)

: is a carminative for all types of stomach troubles, particularly gas (flatulent dyspepsia). It is a powerful antiseptic but less toxic to tissues. It is said to stimulate the production of white corpuscles in the blood in various infestations. It helps in insomnia, anxiety, nervous debility and depression. Inhalation of oil helps in acute throat problems (laryngitis and pharyngitis). Two ml of Ajwain oil dissolved in 30 ml of Neem oil is very useful for external application in hair diseases, particularly tinea of scalp and beard. An emulsion (Ark Ajwain), made by dissolving 2 ml Ajwain oil in 5 ml alcohol and mixed with 500 ml water is an antiseptic for stomach and throat, and is used for hypersensitive teeth and for throat gargle.
