Cedarwood oil has a pleasant woody odour, and an antifungal and pesticidal activity. It is used externally for obstinate types of skin diseases by mixing it in other oils, particularly Neem oil. The oil diluted in alcohol can be sprayed and used for preserving cloth in wardrobe and as a room freshener. It helps in skin diseases like acne, alopecia, dandruff and seborrhoea of scalp.
