RECIPES FOR WEIGHT GAIN

During Convalescent Period

(a) Take 3 gm of the mixture of fine powders of Triphala, Mulathi, Aswagandha and Shatawari.
(b) Ddhatu Paushtik Churn: Make 3 gm of mixture made from equal quantity of Gokshru and Gond Katira. Mix this in ghee along with milk and take it empty stomach in the morning and before retiring in the evening for minimum for three months.
(c) A combination of 100 gm each of Ashwagndha and Gaduchi in a dose of 1 gm three times a day, can be used as a general tonic.
(d) For the proper development of fetus to weak expectant mothers give 500 mg of Ashwagndha with equal quantities of Shatawari mixed in ghee.
