Bad Body Odour - AyurvedaTreatment with Ayurveda medicines


Mild astringent:

(i) Macerate 10 gm red rose petals, 1 gm Sat Nimbu, 1 gm Chuara, 2 gm Reetha, and 1 gm Fitkari in 100 ml of rose water for a day. Filter and apply the solution on the face with a cotton swab for rashes, excess of oil, and as a cleansing agent.

(ii) Macerate in 200 ml rose water coarse powder of 2 gm Chuara, 5 gm Reetha, 5 gmKhairsar, 10 gm Chandan, and 10 gm Chandan Lal for a day, filter and apply.

(iii) Prickly heat Powder. Some of the powders sold as talcum powder have inorganic materials like talc and soapstone , which get deposited in the lungs when dusted on the body and give rise to lung congestion or disease like silicosis. It is better to use products containing starchl for dusting on the body, which not only lubricate the skin in a natural way blut are also fully biodegradable.

These can be easily prepared at home with a kitchen mixer as follows:

(i) Mix thoroughly in 85 gm starch (corn flour),8 gm fine Tulsi powder, 2 gm Tanakn Bhasam, 3 gm Yashad Bhasam, 1 ml Neem oil, and 1 ml peppermint oil.
(ii) Mix thoroughly in 90 gm starch, 3 gm Tankan Bhasam, 5 gm Yashad Bhasam, 1 gm sandal powder, and, 1 gm sandal oil.
(iii) Mix thoroughly in 90 gm starch 10 gm fine powder of Methi dana,
(iv) (Note: This prickly heat powder contains Methi, which penetrates deep in the skin and suppresses all types of bad odor from the body.)
