This treatment is said to increase the sense of eyes, nose, ear and nose. It helps in hair hygiene, prevents premature graying of hair, hair loss, and hair split etc. It induces sleep and helps in sinus. In this treatment paste is applied on the head.

Generally two cm thick paste made from Amla and yoghurt milk, after massage with medicated oil, is used. The paste is allowed to remain on the head for one hour, it is removed with a dry towel after that and massage with medicated oil is given. In the end the patient is asked to take bath in the decoction of Amla.
