Pimples and Acne How to Cure ?

In cases of both pimples and acne do not use soap, oil, cream and any types of facial cleanser. Wash face with decoction of water made from 3 gm Triphala and 3 gm Haldi in 500 ml water. Do not give any harsh treatment to the skin. Use herbal blood purifiers as given in the beginning of this chapter. Follow strict diet restriction by not eating food items rich in sugar and fats. Use the following herbal mixtures as a skin cleanser:

(a) Make a thick paste in blender by taking 100 gm Multani miti (special clay)soaked in rose water and with milk exatracts of Lodhra, Manjith, Vach, Tankan Bhasam (boric acid) 5 gm glycerin and 1 ml sandal oil
(b) Make a paste of Jaiphal in milk and apply.
(c) Apply one gram of mixture consisting of equal parts of Kutaj, Amla, Sonth, and Baring, three times a day with water.
(d) Pulverize 100 gm each of Lal Chandan, Lodhra, Manjilth, Kuth , Tagar (sugandh bala), Vach and 1 gm keshar to obtain a very fine powder. For application, make a paste kof this mixture in a blender with minimum amount of rose water along with 3-4 drops of lemon juice. Let it dry on the skin and wash with warm water.
