Ascites :In this condition, the fluid is retained in the peritoneal cavity of
the body, edema and dropsy may develop and there is an abnormal accumulation
of fluid below eyes (puffiness), and feet. The patient dislikes food,
has thirst, heaviness, weakness, and uneasiness. In this case give purgatives
and a diuretic decoction made from 2 gm of each of Punernava, Hauber,
Varun and Gokshru should be used.
