In the USA, it is sold under the name Gotu Kola in the form of dry leaves in capsules, or very weak alcohol extract, or dry exatracts of whole herbs but as given in the above couplet, leaves of the herb, preferably when used with milk, give the best results. In old age, it helps in fever, liver and stomach disorders. It strengthens the body and prevents infections. Powder of leaves mixed in milk strengthens nerves, brain and thus promotes memory.
