Parkinson’s Disease - AyurvedaTreatment with Ayurveda medicinesThis disease develops due to damage to part of the brain. The patient may have difficulty in chewing or swallowing, there stiffness and trembling in the limbs and hand-writing becomes smaller than usual. For relief, the patient should eat about 100 gm fish or chicken or beans, with maximum amount of fresh fruits, vegetables and should use vitamins C and E regularly. An Ayurvedic preparation Nabar Gutika, which contains L-dopa, helps. It may be taken along with Mukta Pishti and dry Amla juice. Start with 2 gm of Banarr Gutika and increase the doze one gram every week, till intolerable or difficult to digest. Maintain that dose, till no side effects are shown.
