Kidney Stone

Kidney Stone (Prevent formation of stones and to cause their dissolution)

The following herbs have been used for this purpose :

(a) Pashanbheda powder of root 1-2 gm with water.
(b) Varun, the detail is given under diuretics.
(c) Kulath dal decoction has inhibitory effect on formation and dissolution of calcium oxalate crystals but has no effect on the phosphate ones. It lowers the blood urea levels, relieves spasm and irritation of the urinary organ.
(d) Methi dana aqueous extract when used daily, significantly decreased the quantity of calcium oxalate deposits on the kidney.
